MONday - 02JAN - Day 01: Departure to Tel Aviv Today, we board our international flight to Tel Aviv. TUEsday – 03JAN – Day 02: Arrival – Galilee Welcome to the Holy Land! We will arrive through Ben Gurion Airport and then we will be transferred to our hotel in Galilee for dinner and overnight. (D) WEDnesday – 04JAN – Day 03: Caesarea – Haifa – Nazareth – Cana After breakfast, we will travel through the coast to Caesarea by the Sea. There we will visit the Crusaders’ castle, the Roman amphitheater, the seaport from which the Apostle Paul sailed to Rome, and the Roman aqueduct system (included). Then we continue to visit Haifa where we visit to the Carmelite Monastery and the Church of the Prophet Elijah. In the afternoon visit Nazareth where we visit the Basilica of the Annunciation where we celebrate mass and the Church of St. Joseph, we will also visit the Mary’s Well. End the day with a visit to Cana where we stop at the Church of the First Miracle of Jesus. Where married couples can renew their wedding vows. We head to our hotel in Nazareth for dinner and overnight. (B.D.) THUrsday – 05JAN – Day 04: Sea of Galilee – Capernaum – Tabgha – Nazareth After breakfast we drive to the Sea of Galilee, where we visit the church of Capernaum (included) to visit the remains of an old house. Then we will visit the Church of Tabgha the Multiplication of Fishes and Loaves. We will also visit Mt. Beatitudes on the Sea of Galilee. We end our day with a boat ride around the Sea of Galilee (included). Back to hotel for dinner and overnight. (B.D.) FRIday – 06JAN – Day 05: Tabor – Baptismal site – Jericho – Qumran – Jerusalem Following breakfast, we will depart from hotel to visit the Mt. Tabor (included) the church of the Transfiguration where we celebrate mass. Continue visiting the Baptismal Site, the exact site where Jesus was baptized, nearby Jericho. Stop in Jericho, the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. We then drive to Qumran (included), to see the spot where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Then we will drive to our hotel in Bethlehem. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem. (B.D.) SATurday – 07JAN – Day 06: Mt of Olives – Mt Zion – Jerusalem After breakfast, we start with the Mt. of Olives, the Church of the Pater Noster (entrance included), Church of the Ascension (entrance included) and down to Dominus Flevit and St. Magdalene Church. Pray at the Garden of Gethsemane and visit the Church of All Nations. In the afternoon we will visit Mt. Zion including the upper room where Last Supper, the Institution of the Holy Eucharist and Pentecost took place. We also pass by King David’s Tomb. Then to St. Peter in Gallicantu (entrance included) where Jesus was denied by St. Peter three times. Then we will check in to our hotel for dinner and overnight (B.D.) SUNday – 08JAN – Day 07: Bethlehem – Shepherd’s Fields – Ein Karem – Israel Museum After breakfast we leave for Bethlehem at the Church of the Nativity, where our Savior was born. We will also visit Shepherd’s Field and Milk Grotto. After lunch on your own, we will shop for souvenirs at a Christian owned store. In the afternoon, we will visit Ein Karem, the hometown and birthplace of St. John the Baptist and the place where the Blessed Virgin Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth. In the afternoon visit Israel Museum to see the model of Jerusalem at the time of Jesus. Back to our hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight. (B.D.) MONday – 09JAN – Day 08: Via Dolorosa – Holy Sepulcher – Western Wall – Jewish Quarter Early in the morning, we walk the way of the Cross with early mass at the Holy Sepulcher Church. In here, we will visit Golgotha, Holy Sepulcher, where Jesus was laid after he was removed from the Cross and his tomb. Back to our hotel for breakfast. After breakfast we visit Church of St. Anne (included) and the Wailing Wall. We will then walk the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter passing the Herodian Wall and the Menorah.
